We are the world’s largest ‘premium aluminium’ producer and the biggest industrial company in the UAE outside oil and gas.
EGA recruited more than 220 UAE Nationals last year, including 100 women across its workforce. The average age of new recruits was 23 years old.
EGA has opened sustainable corporate bank accounts with Citi and Standard Chartered Banks. EGA is amongst the first in the region to choose the accounts, which ensure cash balances are used to finance or refinance sustainability progress elsewhere in the economy, which is in line with our drive to embed sustainability in everything we do.
EGA has launched the 2023 edition of our industrial robotics competition for university students, Al Robot. This competition enables students to apply the Industry 4.0 skills they have learned to a real industrial challenge, helping prepare them to contribute to the UAE’s industrial future.
EGA has signed an agreement to supply CelestiAL solar aluminium to Kobe Steel to make automotive body sheet for Nissan. CelestiAL will be used at one of the largest rolling mills in Japan. Automotive body sheet is used by the giant Japanese automaker to form vehicle body panels such as doors and bonnets.

We primarily supply metal directly to customers that use our aluminium to make products that ultimately touch lives worldwide. We aim to build deep partnerships with our customers to grow the use of the metal of the future together.
EGA’s aluminium has been used to construct parts of landmark buildings such as the Burj Khalifa in Dubai and the Esplanade in Singapore.
Our aluminium is used in aeroplanes and transportation systems around the world, from the Dubai Metro to the Shinkansen in Japan.
Major car manufacturers use parts made with EGA’s aluminium.
Some of our customers manufacture packaging for well-known food and drinks brands.
EGA’s aluminium is also used in computers and other electronics products.
The most demanding customers rely on us because we have a track record of four decades in reliably supplying premium aluminium products, with world-class expertise and market insights to help customers achieve a competitive advantage in their markets.
EGA’s environmental performance has enabled EGA products to be declared suitable for sustainable building practices by both the US Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nachhaltiges Bauen (the German Sustainable Building Council).
EGA is one of only a few primary aluminium producers that is accredited to ISO/TS16949, the quality management system for the automotive supply chain.
