The Petroleum Projects and Technical Consultations Company PETROJET is the largest state-owned joint-stock company in the Egyptian construction market established in 1975 as one of the Egyptian Petroleum Sector Companies providing Engineering, Procurement and Construction services as a multidisciplinary integrated construction contractor offering a diversified spectrum of services related to the Oil, Gas, Petrochemical, Infrastructure and Industrial Sectors in Egypt, Middle East and Africa.

Today, after 4 decades, Petrojet is recognized as a leading regional EPC Contractor with a strong portfolio covering various businesses like Oil, Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Power, Industrial and Infrastructure projects. It is reserving an advanced rank on ENR’s list of top 250 Global Contractors for 10 years in a row.
The company renders its services in numerous countries across the Middle East and North Africa, and is currently stretching its services to Sub-Saharan Africa as well.
The Company employs a workforce of over 40000 people, and owns a large fleet of modern construction equipment, world-class fabrication facilities for Process Equipment, Offshore Fabrication Yards and pipe coating facilities.

Additionally, PETROJET holds numerous technical licenses, like ASME Stamps (U-Stamp, U2-Stamp, PP-Stamp, and S-Stamp) as well as the R-Stamp also the API Monogram. Petrojet is the first company in Egypt and MENA region to be certified by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) for the fabrication, assembly and construction of Nuclear Power Plants’ components (N, NPT, NS, and NA stamps).

Petrojet is officially in world Guinness record now, for executing the Largest Double Deck Floating Roof of 175,000 m3 (1.1 million Barrels) Crude Oil Storage Tank project in Ras Badran, in Sinai.

AGREEMENT WITH BECHTEL, BP TO DEVELOP HS
Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla has witnessed the signing of an agreement with Bechtel, bp, Petrojet, Apache and the American Chamber of Commerce to develop and enhance the health, safety and environment (HSE) practices within the petroleum sector, which includes the launch of a new training center that will teach HSE based on the latest international standards.
